FunSongs in Milan

Scott Bishop teaches "Robin Hood's Band"

Yesterday Charles Goodger and FunSongs actors, Scott Bishop and Amy Hough set off at 5 in the morning for Milan to present four FunSongs Christmas shows at a Primary school in Lainate just outside the city. After a meeting with a Lainate-based record company to organize the reprinting of the new FunSongs CD, Charles then travelled into the centre - to the British Council in Via Manzoni - to attend the annual ELT conference where he hosted a well attended workshop for Primary School teachers entitled "Songs in Action". There was considerable interest in the FunSongs method.

Imminent show dates include Christmas shows in Bologna and European shows for a large Scuola Media near Siena.

FunSongs bulletin after Frascati shows

Final round of a Civiltà Quiz Show

Our FunSongs shows at the large Scuola Media (Tino Buazzelli) in Frascati were well received last week. Scott and Amy travelled down to Rome on Monday evening in time for a series of Autumn and Monster shows and Charles Goodger came down to Rome on Wednesday evening to host six FunSongs Civiltà Quiz Shows. Our thanks to Prof.ssa Daniela Rosati for organizing everything.

While in Rome Charles Goodger visited the MIUR to deliver a folder of FunSongs worksheets to Inspector Raffaele Sanzo. The Ministry is interested in the FunSongs Approach and will indirectly help us promote our material by mentioning it at workshops and conferences.

FunSongs Summer Camp

On Saturday 12 November Charles Goodger finally met up with the Director of Servizi alle Persone of Zola Predosa Council. There is definite interest in the project as part of the UISP Summer Camps. In the next few days Charles will submit a formal proposal to the Council which should approve it in the next few weeks.

Sixty-five Million years Ago

A new action song based on the fascinating world of dinosaurs is reaching its final phase. We hope to be able to put up a sample of the song on www.funsongs.co.uk before long.
